Conduct production of a wide variety of precision parts Work from written instructions and blueprints to mill parts Perform checks using gauges and fixtures for conformance Use common hand tools for production and finishing tasks Program CNC mills or lathes as needed Ensure quality parts while minimizing scrap and rework Perform basic pre-staged machine set-ups and tool offsets Write and edit CNC programs for precision machining Resolve tooling wear problems effectively Machines you might work on: Milling machine - DMG Mori DMU 210/ Hermle C40 + C50 Axis - 5 Controller- Heidenhain TNC530

Core Responsibilities

Operate CNC mills in a fast-paced production environment to manufacture precision parts from written instructions and blueprints, performing milling and related turning, grinding, and boring operations. Set up machines and tool offsets, program or edit CNC programs, inspect parts for conformance, and resolve tooling wear issues while minimizing scrap and rework.

Requirements

Requires at least four years of CNC machine experience, including experience with grinding, boring, milling, and turning, as well as independent CNC programming ability. Experience with Heidenhain TNC530 controls and CNC mills or lathes is required; a mechanical diploma is listed, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
