Job Description

Help turn innovative noise-control technology into products that can be manufactured reliably at scale. At DeNoize, we develop active noise cancellation technology for homes, helping create quieter and more comfortable living environments. Our products bring together mechanics, electronics, sensors and intelligent control software. Your Role We are looking for a Manufacturing & Industrialisation Lead to take our product from prototype to serial production. You will establish the suppliers, assembly processes, testing methods and production capabilities needed to manufacture consistently, and improve them as volumes grow. You will own the transition from development into manufacturing, working closely with our R&D team, suppliers and production partners. This is a hands-on role with broad responsibility. You should be equally comfortable reviewing a supplier quotation, improving an assembly fixture, investigating a failed test and planning the next production run. Your Responsibilities Lead the transition into production Develop and execute the industrialisation plan, from prototype assessment and pilot builds through production release and ramp-up. Work with R&D to improve design for manufacturing and assembly, addressing tolerances, component selection, assembly complexity and testability. Define production-readiness criteria and resolve technical and operational risks before increasing output. Build a reliable supply chain Identify, evaluate and qualify component suppliers and manufacturing partners. Establish clear requirements for quality, cost, lead times and capacity. Recommend what to manufacture internally and what to outsource, and reduce supply risks for critical components. Establish efficient assembly processes Set up assembly workflows, workstations, tooling and fixtures appropriate to each stage of production. Create and maintain manufacturing bills of materials, work instructions and controlled production documentation. Plan production capacity and material requirements, coordinate assembly activities and train colleagues or production partners. Build quality into manufacturing Establish incoming inspection, in-process checks and end-of-line testing with the engineering team. Implement traceability for components, product versions and test results. Investigate defects, drive corrective actions and feed production findings back into product design. Scale and improve Track production yield, assembly time, manufacturing cost and delivery performance. Identify bottlenecks, reduce rework and introduce improvements as production volumes increase. Help develop the production team and external manufacturing capabilities as the business grows. Required Skills Proven experience taking a physical product from prototype or development into repeatable series production. Typically three or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialisation, or a comparable role. Experience with products combining mechanical parts and electronics. Practical knowledge of component sourcing, supplier qualification, assembly processes and production testing. The ability to translate engineering designs into clear manufacturing documentation and workable production processes. Strong problem-solving skills and confidence working directly on the production floor. The ability to create structure, prioritise and take ownership in a small technology company. Professional working proficiency in English and availability to work regularly at our Delft location. Preferred Skills Experience with contract manufacturers, production ramp-ups in a growing hardware company, lean manufacturing or production planning systems would be valuable. Experience in acoustics or active noise cancellation is welcome, but is not required. Equal Opportunity Statement We welcome applications from people with different technical backgrounds. If you have relevant experience bringing hardware into production, we would like to hear from you. Why join DeNoize? Take ownership of a defining step in bringing our technology into people’s homes. Shape how our products are manufactured, from supplier selection to final testing. Work closely with engineers across mechanics, electronics and signal processing. See the direct impact of your decisions on product quality, manufacturing cost and production capacity. Help build the manufacturing capabilities of a growing technology company in Delft. Interested? Apply with your CV and a short introduction. Tell us about a product you helped move into production: what you were responsible for, the main challenge you encountered and the result.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the transition of a hardware product from prototype through pilot builds, production release, and ramp-up, establishing suppliers, assembly processes, testing, and production documentation. Monitor quality, yield, cost, capacity, and delivery performance, resolve manufacturing issues, and improve production capabilities as volumes grow.

Requirements

Requires at least three years of relevant experience taking physical products from development or prototype into repeatable series production, including products combining mechanical parts and electronics. Candidates should have practical sourcing, supplier qualification, assembly, testing, documentation, and production-floor problem-solving experience, and be available to work regularly in Delft.

"We can not close our ears with as much ease as we can close our eyes". WHO has defined noise pollution as a silent killer affecting the health of millions of people living in busy cities. Airports are spending millions of euros to compensate for the noise levels caused by low-flying planes. 80% of this noise enters your house through windows which are ineffective in stopping the low-frequency sound. DeNoize has developed an active noise cancellation tech to solve this problem. Our technology converts your windows into an active speaker which cancels the outdoor noise by superimposing an anti-phase signal in real time. Our technology is proven to achieve 95% reduction in the amplitude of transmitted noise, resulting in complete silence inside your homes and offices. We are very excited to make windows effective to take a step toward quieter homes.
