About the position MW Energie, part of MEAN WELL Europe, is rapidly expanding its activities in the home energy storage market. With more than 100 active customers and growing sales across the Benelux, we are looking for an ambitious and technically skilled Product Specialist – MW Energie to support the further development, introduction, and localization of our home battery solutions. Job Purpose The Product Specialist connects MW Energie's home battery products with local market and customer needs. You will support new product introductions, research market requirements and regulations, provide technical product support, and work with internal teams to improve and localize our solutions. Job Responsibilities Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through product evaluation, testing, and feedback. Research Benelux/EU regulations, market requirements, customer needs, and industry trends. Develop strong technical knowledge of MW Energie's home battery products and applications. Translate customer and market needs into recommendations for product improvement and localization. Provide technical product support, including demonstrations, testing, troubleshooting, and customer inquiries. Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams. Support the creation of technical and promotional materials for new and existing products. Job Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Power Electronics, or a related technical field. Fluent in English and Chinese. Good understanding of battery technology, power conversion, and energy storage systems. Knowledge of the Benelux/EU energy storage market, regulations, or standards is an advantage. Hands-on and comfortable with product testing and troubleshooting. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and commercial teams. Strong interest in home energy storage and renewable energy. Core Responsibilities
Support the introduction and localization of home battery products by evaluating and testing products, researching market needs and regulations, and translating customer feedback into product recommendations. Provide technical support and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams on product improvements and materials.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Power Electronics, or a related technical field is required, along with fluency in English and Chinese. Candidates should understand battery technology, power conversion, and energy storage systems, and bring hands-on testing, troubleshooting, research, analytical, and communication skills; Benelux/EU market or regulatory knowledge is an advantage.
