Location: Veghel, the Netherlands Company: HC Supply Chain (Netherlands) B.V. Location and Eligibility Requirement Candidates must currently be based in the Netherlands and be available to work regularly on-site in Veghel. Candidates living in or near Noord-Brabant are strongly preferred. Due to the local nature of this position and the need for direct communication with Dutch Customs, we are not considering candidates based outside the Netherlands or candidates requiring international relocation. Applications without the required senior customs qualifications and proven Dutch AEO and customs warehousing application experience will not be considered. About the Role We are establishing a European spare parts distribution centre in Veghel and are looking for an experienced Customs Manager to build and manage our customs function. Your immediate priority will be to lead our applications for AEO authorisation and a customs warehousing authorisation, and subsequently put the approved procedures into daily operation. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, works directly with the relevant teams and Dutch Customs, and drives the applications through to a successful decision. Key Responsibilities Lead the AEO and customs warehousing applications, from gap assessment and documentation through customs audit and approval. Prepare the AEO Self-Assessment Questionnaire, customs procedures and internal controls. Establish customs warehouse administration, stock reconciliation and audit trails together with the warehouse and IT teams. Act as the main contact for Dutch Customs and coordinate external advisers. Manage ongoing customs compliance and train the operational team. Requirements Currently based in the Netherlands and able to work regularly on-site in Veghel. Preferably living in Noord-Brabant or within reasonable commuting distance of Veghel. An evofenedex Customs Manager qualification, or an equivalent senior customs qualification. Proven experience personally leading successful AEO and customs warehousing authorisation applications in the Netherlands. Strong knowledge of Dutch customs procedures, the Union Customs Code and customs warehouse operations. Demonstrated experience working directly with Dutch Customs. Professional working proficiency in both English and Dutch. What We Are Looking For You are hands-on, proactive and persistent. Core Responsibilities

Lead applications for AEO and customs warehousing authorizations, including gap assessments, documentation, self-assessment materials, audits, and approval. Establish customs warehouse procedures and controls, manage ongoing compliance, coordinate with Dutch Customs and external advisers, and train operational teams.

Requirements

Applicants must be based in the Netherlands, able to work regularly on-site in Veghel, and hold an evofenedex Customs Manager qualification or equivalent senior customs qualification. They must have personally led successful Dutch AEO and customs warehousing authorization applications, have strong knowledge of Dutch customs procedures and the Union Customs Code, and be professionally proficient in English and Dutch.
