The role in a nutshell As our producer, you run our photo and video productions from A to Z. You’re the linchpin between client, team and freelancers, and you make sure everyone knows what’s coming before they even ask. You own your productions, budget included. No two days are the same. A shoot moves, the client wants one more location, the sun decides not to play along. You switch gears, sort it out and keep a cool head. Because a great production doesn’t end at five o’clock, it ends when it’s right. What you’ll do Produce from briefing to delivery: planning, call sheets, locations, logistics and aftercare. Take the load off clients. You think along, ask the right questions and make sure they feel in safe hands. Put the team together and lead it on set: colleagues and makers from our community. Keep an eye on the budget of your own projects, within the framework we agree on together. Be on location, including evenings, weekends and productions abroad. Help us work smarter, AI included. What success looks like Your productions run smoothly, and when they don’t, you’ve already found the fix. Clients feel looked after from the first call to the final delivery, and they come back. Your team and freelancers know what’s expected a week ahead, not three days. Your projects land within budget, and you flag risks early. After every production, you know what went well and what we can do better next time, and you help make it happen. Within your first year, you’ve left your mark on how we produce. Where you fit in You work closely with our founder and Creative Director, who leads the creative vision and client relationships. Together with our in-house creatives and our international community of photographers, videographers and editors, you turn ideas into productions. You’re not a cog in a big machine: your work is visible from day one, and so is your impact. Who you are At Fitchd, culture comes before CV. We’re looking for a producer with a can-do mindset, who rolls up their sleeves first and talks improvements after. Someone who thinks two steps ahead, keeps everyone in the loop even under pressure, and sees a happy client and team as the best result there is. Someone who knows the difference between good and unforgettable. You follow through. You don’t wait for input, you go and get it. You set the bar at nine out of ten. Hospitality runs in your veins. You’re flexible in your diary and in your head. Office hours are more of a guideline here. What you bring 2 to 3 years’ experience as a producer or in a similar role, ideally in photography, video or events. A bachelor’s level of thinking and working. Excellent Dutch and English, written and spoken. You’re handy with Excel and have already had a go at AI automations. A full category B driving licence, and you’ll drive anything: manual or automatic. You’re happy to carry a flight case and you love to travel. Core Responsibilities

Manage photo and video productions from briefing through delivery, including planning, logistics, locations, budgets, and post-production follow-up. Coordinate clients, in-house teams, and freelancers, lead on-set production, and identify ways to improve production processes.

Requirements

Applicants should have 2–3 years of experience as a producer or in a similar role, ideally in photography, video, or events, and bachelor’s-level thinking and working ability. Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English, Excel skills, experience trying AI automations, a full category B driving licence, and flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours are required.
