⭕️ Max Streicher S.p.A. is a leading EPC contractor specializing in Oil & Gas infrastructure, pipelines, and industrial plants. Based in Parma, Italy, the company delivers projects nationally and internationally. ⭕️ Posizione: We are looking for a Project Control Technician - Cost Control to join our project team in Rotterdam. The successful candidate will be responsible for the economic monitoring and control of the project, supporting the Project Management team in analyzing project progress, costs and performance, as well as identifying potential issues and risks. The role will work closely with the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Administration functions, contributing to the effective financial and operational management of the project. Key Responsibilities: Monitor the project's physical and financial progress; Prepare, update and control project budgets, forecasts and cash flow; Analyze actual costs and prepare Estimate at Completion (EAC) assessments; Perform variance analyses between budget, forecast and actual costs, identifying risks, opportunities and potential criticalities; Collect, consolidate and validate cost data provided by Procurement, Construction and Project Administration teams; Prepare project financial reports for the Project Manager, Management and Client; Support the Project Manager in monitoring project financial performance and defining corrective actions; Ensure the proper application of Project Control procedures and company reporting methodologies. Requisiti: Technical or economic educational background; Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Control within industrial projects, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector; Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Good command of written and spoken English; Strong analytical skills, problem-solving attitude and results-oriented mindset; Accuracy, organizational autonomy and ability to work effectively within a team; Knowledge of project planning and control tools such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project will be considered an advantage. Core Responsibilities

Monitor project progress and financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, actual costs, and estimates at completion. Consolidate cost data, analyze variances and risks, prepare financial reports, support corrective actions, and ensure compliance with project control procedures.

Requirements

A technical or economics-related educational background and at least three years of cost control experience in industrial projects are required, preferably in Oil & Gas. Candidates should have strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, good written and spoken English, analytical and problem-solving abilities, accuracy, autonomy, and teamwork skills; Primavera P6 or MS Project knowledge is an advantage.
