The Opportunity We are building a talent community of experienced Backup & Storage Engineers who can design, implement, manage and optimise enterprise data protection and storage environments. As part of our talent pool, you may be considered for future opportunities involving enterprise backup solutions, storage administration, infrastructure modernisation, data recovery, business continuity and disaster recovery. We welcome professionals with expertise in one or more of the following technology areas: 1. Rubrik Enterprise backup and recovery solutions. Rubrik Security Cloud and data protection technologies. Backup policy configuration, monitoring and optimisation. Cyber resilience, ransomware recovery and data security. Disaster recovery planning and execution. 2. Commvault Enterprise backup and recovery administration. Commvault configuration, implementation and troubleshooting. Backup infrastructure management and performance optimisation. Data recovery, replication and disaster recovery solutions. Backup monitoring, reporting and operational support. 3. NetApp Enterprise storage administration and management. NetApp ONTAP and storage infrastructure. SAN and NAS storage technologies. Storage provisioning, capacity management and performance optimisation. Data replication, storage availability and disaster recovery. Candidates do not need to be experts in all three technologies. We are interested in professionals with deep expertise in at least one of these areas and a willingness to work in complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Depending on your technical specialisation and future assignment, responsibilities may include: Design, implement and maintain enterprise backup, recovery and storage solutions. Administer and optimise Rubrik, Commvault and/or NetApp environments. Ensure data availability, integrity, security and recoverability. Develop and maintain backup, retention and disaster recovery strategies. Monitor backup operations, investigate failures and resolve complex technical issues. Perform backup restoration, recovery testing and disaster recovery exercises. Troubleshoot performance, capacity and infrastructure-related challenges. Implement improvements to backup and storage processes, automation and operational efficiency. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and infrastructure standards. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud and operations teams. Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders. Contribute to infrastructure modernisation, resilience and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Experience and Qualifications To be considered for opportunities within this talent pool, candidates should have: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, backup, storage or data protection engineering. Strong hands-on experience with at least one of the following technologies: Rubrik, Commvault or NetApp. Proven experience supporting business-critical enterprise infrastructure. A solid understanding of backup and recovery principles, data protection, storage architecture and disaster recovery. Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents and implementing effective solutions. An understanding of high availability, business continuity and data resilience. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within technical teams. Relevant technical certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. Language Requirements Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English is required. Candidates must be comfortable communicating with technical teams, stakeholders and business users in both languages. Core Responsibilities

Design, implement, administer, and optimize enterprise backup, recovery, and storage environments using Rubrik, Commvault, and/or NetApp. Maintain data availability and resilience by monitoring operations, resolving complex issues, testing recovery and disaster recovery plans, documenting procedures, and collaborating with infrastructure, security, cloud, and operations teams.

Requirements

Candidates need at least 10 years of professional experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, backup, storage, or data protection, with hands-on expertise in at least one of Rubrik, Commvault, or NetApp. They must have strong knowledge of backup and recovery, storage architecture, disaster recovery, and business continuity, be professionally proficient in Dutch and English, and be legally authorized to work in the Netherlands.
