YOUR MISSION As a Housing Expert, you will be a key specialist within our Operations department, helping our users navigate the Dutch rental market with clarity and care. You'll guide international employees and expats through the challenges of the housing market, helping them improve their housing profiles and increase their chances of securing a great place to live. You will provide both strategic guidance and hands-on support, ensuring our users feel confident and supported throughout their housing search journey. You'll be directly impacting people's lives by making their transition to living in the Netherlands smoother and less stressful. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You are guiding users on how to approach the rental housing market effectively; You are providing support around expectation management based on market trends and demand; You are assessing and advising on the quality of housing profiles to improve appeal and match potential; You are helping users increase the number of relevant listings they can access; You are providing 1:1 consultancy and ongoing question support to users; You are applying to viewings on behalf of users as part of our service; You are optionally attending viewings in person; You are sharing resources and tools to help users feel confident during viewings; You are working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Proven experience in or knowledge of the rental housing market in the Netherlands; Proven experience in operations, housing services, customer success, or similar roles; You have excellent communication skills with a consultative and supportive approach; You are comfortable providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support; You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously; You are fluent in English and Dutch You have an interest in real estate, housing consultancy or operations; You have experience working with expats or in hospitality in the Netherlands; You can work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams;| Customer-focused mindset, with a compassionate and solution-oriented approach to client needs; You have the right to work in the Netherlands. Provide one-to-one advice and practical support with viewing applications and resources, while coordinating with internal teams to deliver a seamless service.

Requirements

Candidates should have knowledge or experience in the Dutch rental housing market and experience in operations, housing services, customer success, or a similar field. They must be fluent in English and Dutch, have strong communication and organizational skills, be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, and have the right to work in the Netherlands.
