As VP Corporate Real Estate Western Europe, you will lead the regional Real Estate function (Western Europe with the countries: Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and France) and define a future-oriented strategy for our diverse, dynamic markets. Your work ensures that DHL’s facilities, networks and properties enable sustainable growth, operational excellence and customer confidence. Location: Utrecht / Netherlands or Brussels / Belgium Your main Task Lead the Real Estate Western Europe region (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and France) Shape and execute the Western Europe Real Estate strategy in alignment with regional business priorities. Lead major expansion, development and optimization projects, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple countries. Oversee integrated real estate services, ensuring efficient processes, governance and world‑class facility standards. Drive preparation and approval of business cases and investment proposals for strategic real estate initiatives. Negotiate critical contracts with suppliers, developers, brokers and contractors to secure optimal outcomes. Build and maintain trusted partnerships with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, Business Development and other units. Represent DHL Group as a thought leader, influencing internal and external stakeholders and steering long-term decisions. Lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams, fostering capability growth and a high-performance culture across the region. What You Bring We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and trusted senior leader with the ability to balance business objectives, real estate expertise, and people leadership. Your Expertise & Experience 10+ years in commercial real estate, portfolio management, development, construction management or similar fields. Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end real estate strategies in complex, international environments. Strong background in contract negotiation, risk management, transaction management, and project oversight. Experience driving transformation and implementing best-in-class real estate practices. Proven track record in leading senior teams and managing multi-country stakeholders. Ability to influence at executive level and gain sponsorship for major initiatives. Strong partnership mindset and exceptional communication skills. Master’s degree in real estate, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Core Responsibilities

Lead DHL Group’s Western Europe real estate function across the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and France, setting and executing strategy aligned with regional business priorities. Oversee major projects, services, investments, contracts, stakeholder partnerships, and the development of high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Requires 10+ years of relevant real estate, portfolio, development, construction, or related experience, including leadership of international strategies and senior, multi-country stakeholders. A master’s degree in real estate, architecture, engineering, business, or a related field is required, alongside expertise in negotiation, risk and transaction management, project oversight, transformation, and executive-level influence.
