Help maintain and improve Hunkemöller's Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with recognized standards and best practices. Support cyber security risk management by identifying, assessing, and tracking risks. Document security processes, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent and auditable ways of working. Assist with security assessments of vendors, tools, and internal systems. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support cyber security objectives. Work with our managed security providers to help keep Hunkemöller secure. About You Passionate about cyber security, with a strong interest in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). Familiar with IT networks and infrastructure, including how systems, identities, and data interact. Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing your own work. Eager to learn and build a career in cyber security. Currently enrolled in an HBO, Bachelor's, or Master's program in cyber security or a related field, with at least the first semesters completed. What You'll Gain You will gain hands-on experience in incident management and business continuity management. You will practice threat hunting and gap analysis relevant to the retail industry. You will broaden your knowledge on incident response frameworks and on the anatomy of an incident. You will demonstrate your capability to enhance event detection and incident reporting capabilities. You will gain experience in establishing correlation in a technology diverse environment. What do we offer you? Work From Home (WFH) Policy: For 40-hour internships, you are allowed to work from home up to 3 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training. Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week). Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard. Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also, company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks. Eligibility Criteria For This Internship, You Need To Be Available For 5 Months Starting In February 2027. Core Responsibilities

Support the maintenance and improvement of the Information Security Management System, cybersecurity risk management, and documentation of security processes. Assist with security assessments of vendors, tools, and internal systems, and collaborate with business stakeholders and managed security providers to advance security objectives.

Requirements

Applicants should be enrolled throughout the five-month internship in an HBO, bachelor's, or master's program in cybersecurity or a related field, with at least the first semesters completed. They should be interested in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance; understand IT networks and infrastructure; and be proactive, organized, and eager to learn.
