As our Technical Website Intern, you help keep the site underneath fast, accessible, and reliable, so our users find the one proposition that fits their and signs up for exactly what they get. Clean up deprecated components and duplicated patterns, merging them into single typed components without changing how they look 🧹 Fix accessibility, performance, and browser-compatibility defects found by QC before they ever reach Eva 🔧 Help keep Core Web Vitals on Good for our key conversion pages ⚡ Write the missing tests with Vitest and Playwright, and keep our quality gates green ✅ Use AI to move faster, and review what it produces critically before it ships 🤖 Learn our stack the right way: React, Framer property controls, atomic design, and design tokens 🧩 You have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript You know your web fundamentals: the DOM, the cascade, responsive layout, how browsers render, and what Core Web Vitals measure You understand the basics of automated testing and you're keen to learn Vitest and Playwright You use AI for coding and testing, and you have the judgment to catch when its output is wrong You know the basics of React and you're eager to learn it properly, along with atomic design and design tokens You care about the details that make a site work for everyone, whatever browser or device our users use Curious to see how we make life easy? - try the bunq app, it only takes 5 minutes to sign up. Core Responsibilities

Improve bunq.com’s shared component library by consolidating duplicated and deprecated components into typed components while preserving their appearance. Fix accessibility, performance, and browser-compatibility issues, help maintain good Core Web Vitals, and add automated tests using Vitest and Playwright.

Requirements

Candidates should have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, web fundamentals, and the basics of React and automated testing. They should be eager to learn Vitest, Playwright, atomic design, and design tokens, and be able to critically review AI-generated code and tests.
