  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, service reports and outstanding actions.
  • Assist with room preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Support maintenance relating to fire safety systems, water systems, access control and other building services where appropriate.
  • Monitor maintenance materials, spare parts and consumables and report when stock needs replenishment.
  • Respond professionally and efficiently to urgent technical issues.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Operations, F&B, Security and other departments to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and safety at all times.
  • Follow all relevant health and safety, fire safety and emergency procedures.

  • Able to troubleshoot technical issues and determine the appropriate next steps.
  • Comfortable recognising when specialist contractor support is required.
  • Able to read technical manuals, service reports and basic technical drawings where required.
  • Experience working with external contractors and service companies.
  • Good understanding of planned preventative maintenance.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, guest-facing operational environment.
  • Able to manage multiple maintenance priorities and work independently.
  • Reliable, organised and able to follow tasks through to completion.
