Programme Manager - Migration & Integrations
About OrderYOYO
We help takeaways and restaurants succeed online by providing them with personalised branded mobile apps, websites and personalised marketing. We are here to ensure that small to medium-sized restaurants and small chains are not subjected to high commissions, and giving the restaurant the ownership of their success!
We serve restaurants across multiple markets, including the UK, Ireland, DACH, the Netherlands and the Nordics, and acquisitions are one part of how we grow. Each business we acquire brings its own platform, data and restaurant partners, and bringing them onto OrderYOYO safely is how we protect and build on that value.
Purpose of the role
You will lead the technology integration and migration of businesses that join OrderYOYO, from technical due diligence and integration planning through migration, stabilisation and the retirement of legacy platforms.
You will own the integrated programme plan across engineering, product, data and customer-facing teams, protecting restaurant continuity and tracking delivery costs and agreed benefits.
You will coordinate dependencies with Finance, People, Commercial and other functional owners, rather than owning every aspect of corporate integration.
Key responsibilities
Programme leadership
• Own end-to-end programme plans and a consolidated view of scope, timelines, dependencies, budget forecasts and risks.
• Lead workstream owners, agree priorities and capacity with functional leads, and run governance, escalating unresolved trade-offs to the CTPO.
• Embed lessons learned into a repeatable migration and integration approach.
Pre-completion and Day 1
• Inform due diligence with assessments of migration complexity, product gaps, dependencies, effort, costs and delivery risks.
• Prepare integration plans before completion and coordinate Day 1 access, environments, tooling and working practices with incoming teams, engineering, IT and security.
• Coordinate early technical and compliance assessments with specialists and track follow-up actions.
Data and systems
• Coordinate data migration and integration into our data platform and business systems with data and engineering teams, agreeing mappings, quality checks and reporting requirements.
Customer migration
• Segment customers by size, value, product usage and complexity; lead platform gap analysis and scope decisions.
• Recommend migration waves and sequencing based on customer impact, technical readiness and capacity, adapting plans as capabilities mature and lessons emerge.
• Agree product, data, operational and customer-readiness criteria; coordinate testing and reconciliation of order flows, payments and key integrations, securing accountable-owner sign-off.
• Coordinate wave runbooks covering preparation, cutover, validation, rollback and support; lead go/no-go recommendations for approval by accountable business and technical owners.
• Own operational handover, including named support owners, stabilisation exit criteria and business acceptance; plan controlled legacy retirement after migration.
Stakeholders
• Align engineering, product, customer-facing and finance teams around one plan and timeline, working with customer-facing teams to keep restaurant partners informed and supported.
Commercial outcomes and reporting
• Partner with Finance to establish and track business cases, covering migration and parallel-running costs, revenue at risk, legacy-retirement savings and forecast cost to complete.
• Verify realised benefits with business owners and report progress, customer experience and value delivered to the CTPO and leadership team.
Skills and experience required
• 5+ years of programme management experience in a technology organisation, including at least 3 years leading platform migrations, customer migrations or post-acquisition integrations.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex, customer-facing platform migrations, including readiness assessment, cutover, post-migration stabilisation and transition into normal operations.
• Strong technical literacy: comfortable discussing APIs, data pipelines, CRM migrations, cutover plans and infrastructure decommissioning with engineers.
• Experience segmenting large customer bases into migration waves, with detailed run books, rollback, hypercare and clear go or no-go criteria.
• Commercial judgement: you can weigh the cost of a feature gap against the revenue at risk and drive a decision.
• Excellent stakeholder management across engineering, product, commercial and executive audiences, with a proven ability to secure commitments, resolve competing priorities and lead delivery without relying on direct line-management authority.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting.
• Comfortable working across countries, cultures and time zones.
Nice to have
• Experience in SaaS, restaurant technology, food ordering, payments or marketplaces.
• Experience with data platform and CRM migrations.
• Direct post-acquisition integration experience, and running a repeatable migration approach across multiple programmes.
• A recognised programme management qualification such as MSP, PRINCE2 or PgMP.
What we offer
• A senior role with direct visibility to the executive team and real influence on how OrderYOYO grows.
• Ownership of our migration and integration capability from day one, with the autonomy to shape how it works.
• Room to grow: as the portfolio expands, the opportunity to build this capability into a dedicated function and lead it.
• Work across nine European markets alongside engineering, product, data and commercial teams.
Core Responsibilities
You will lead the end-to-end technology integration and migration of acquired businesses, managing plans across engineering, product, and data teams. You are responsible for ensuring restaurant continuity, tracking delivery costs, and coordinating with functional leads to meet business objectives.
Requirements
The role requires over 5 years of programme management experience in a technology organization, with at least 3 years specifically in platform or customer migrations. Candidates must possess strong technical literacy and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across international teams.
Benefits
- Direct visibility to the executive team
- Autonomy to shape migration and integration capability
- Opportunity to build a dedicated function
- International work environment
