Job Description

Every order depends on a supply chain that works. As Marie-Stella-Maris grows across D2C, B2B and boutiques, keeping our products available and deliveries on track becomes more important and more complex.

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Lead who enjoys leading a team and staying close to the operation. You’ll keep our day-to-day supply chain running reliably and help the team prepare for the introduction of NetSuite.

About Marie-Stella-Maris

Marie-Stella-Maris is a renowned lifestyle and beauty brand where design, conscious living and social impact come together. Founded in Amsterdam, we create elevated home and body care essentials that enhance everyday routines while contributing to a greater purpose. Through our products and initiatives, we contribute to clean drinking water projects worldwide.

Driven by creativity, social responsibility and an entrepreneurial spirit, Marie-Stella-Maris moves with intention, refined in execution and committed to making a positive impact through everything we create.

The Position

You’ll run the daily supply chain operation across our D2C, B2B and boutique channels. From order flow and stock availability to fulfilment, delivery and returns, you’ll make sure products reach the right place on time and in full, with service and costs kept in balance.

You’ll lead a team of four across planning and operations. This includes a Senior Planner who runs demand and supply planning day to day. You’ll remain accountable for planning and inventory health, while focusing your own attention on priorities, operational performance and decisions that need your support.

You’ll report to the Supply Chain Director and turn supply chain plans into reliable daily execution. You’ll work closely with Commercial, Finance, Product and Sourcing, and be the day-to-day contact for our logistics partners. You’ll also help the team prepare for the NetSuite go-live.

What you’ll do

Keep the supply chain running

  • Oversee daily operations across D2C, B2B and boutiques, from order flow and stock movement through to delivery and returns.

  • Monitor product availability and on-time-in-full delivery, spot issues early and take action to protect service.

  • Balance priorities across channels and keep the operation running efficiently as volumes grow.

Lead and develop the team

  • Lead, coach and develop four colleagues across planning and operations, with clear priorities and ownership.

  • Support the Senior Planner with direction and escalations while they manage the daily planning cycle.

  • Help the team solve problems, make decisions and take on more responsibility over time.

Work with logistics partners

  • Manage day-to-day 3PL and warehouse performance against agreed service levels.

  • Resolve operational issues with our partners and identify ways to improve reliability and efficiency.

Improve processes and prepare for change

  • Identify bottlenecks and improve the way the operation works as the business grows.

  • Prepare the team and its daily processes for the NetSuite go-live.

  • Use operational data to track performance, set priorities and measure improvements.

What you bring

You take ownership when plans change or an issue needs resolving. You’re comfortable making decisions, but you also know when to involve your team and other stakeholders. You bring structure to a busy operation, develop the people around you and follow through until a solution works in practice.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Six to eight years of experience in supply chain or operations, including direct leadership of a small team; experience in retail, e-commerce, FMCG or beauty and lifestyle is a plus.

  • A university degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.

  • Experience running fulfilment across D2C and B2B and managing 3PL partners day to day.

  • A strong understanding of order-to-cash, stock flow, logistics and returns.

  • Enough demand and supply planning knowledge to guide a Senior Planner and keep planning aligned with the operation.

  • Confidence working with ERP systems; experience with an ERP go-live or NetSuite is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills.

  • Fluency in English; Dutch is a strong advantage when working with our retail and logistics partners.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll have a direct impact on how reliably our products reach customers and partners. You’ll lead a team, improve the operation as we grow and help an important change land successfully in the day-to-day work.

Alongside a competitive salary, we offer:

  • 25 vacation days based on a full-time contract, plus your birthday off

  • Two additional days for social responsibility

  • The opportunity to go on a workcation

  • A pension contribution

  • 20% discount on Marie-Stella-Maris products and Refill available at the office and in our boutiques

  • A healthy lunch at the office
