As a Housekeeping Management Intern, you play a key role in supporting the Housekeeping team and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort across the hotel. You contribute to daily operations while developing leadership and organisational skills within a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Support the supervision of daily housekeeping operations and team activities Assist in coordinating room cleaning schedules and public area maintenance Ensure cleanliness, quality, and brand standards are consistently maintained Support training and coaching of team members to achieve service excellence Assist with administrative tasks such as planning, reporting, and quality checks Monitor room status updates and communicate effectively with the Front Office Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team engagement Support stock control and inventory management for housekeeping supplies Essential Requirements Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken Passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality guest experiences Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working Available for a full-time internship for 5 to 12 months Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands Preferred Requirements Previous experience or strong interest in housekeeping operations or hospitality Leadership potential and willingness to take initiative Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment Dutch or any additional language is an advantage Your Benefits And Perks Free meal during every shift Receive €250 for referring another intern Real-world experience in a dynamic hospitality environment Learning & development opportunities to build valuable skill Heavily discounted hotel rates 50% discount in our restaurants and bars Access to exclusive employee discounts and offers Fun social events and team celebrations We provide a monthly allowance of €750, exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with full coverage of travel and job-related expenses. Core Responsibilities

Support daily housekeeping operations, including coordinating cleaning schedules, maintaining cleanliness and brand standards, and assisting with team training and coaching. Help with administrative tasks, room status communication, quality checks, inventory control, and improvements to efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme, communicate well in English, and be eligible to complete a full-time internship in the Netherlands lasting 5 to 12 months. The role calls for a proactive, organized, detail-oriented learner with a passion for hospitality; prior housekeeping experience, leadership potential, teamwork skills, and additional languages are advantageous.
