As a Food & Beverage Intern, you become part of the daily operation, delivering service on the floor while ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. This hands-on role allows you to build strong operational skills across restaurant, bar, breakfast, and events, while gaining valuable exposure to ARCA and learning how exceptional service creates unforgettable guest experiences. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality service across restaurant, bar, breakfast, and events Welcome guests with a warm, engaging, and professional approach Support mise en place, service preparation, and closing duties Explain menus, make recommendations, and support guests with dietary requirements Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and service standards are consistently maintained Work closely with the kitchen and team to ensure a smooth service flow Stay flexible and support different outlets depending on business needs Contribute to creating a positive, energetic, and collaborative team environment Essential Requirements Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study program Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken Passion for food, drinks, and guest service Hands-on and proactive attitude Flexible and eager to learn in a dynamic environment Availability for an internship of at least 5 months Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands Preferred Requirements Previous experience or strong interest in Food & Beverage or hospitality Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset Dutch or any additional language is an advantage Your Benefits & Perks Free meal during every shift Receive €250 for referring another intern Real-world experience in a dynamic hospitality environment Learning & development opportunities to build valuable skill Heavily discounted hotel rates 50% discount in our restaurants and bars Access to exclusive employee discounts and offers Fun social events and team celebrations We provide a monthly allowance of €550, exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with of job-related expenses. Core Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, welcoming service across restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event operations, while supporting preparation, closing duties, menu guidance, and guests’ dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness and service standards, coordinate with the kitchen and colleagues, and adapt to different outlets to support smooth operations and a positive team environment.

Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study program, communicate well in spoken and written English, and be available for an internship of at least five months. They should be passionate about food, drinks, and guest service, proactive, flexible, eager to learn, and eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands; prior hospitality experience and additional languages are advantageous.
