Company Description CoVince | to Grow, to Gather has built an Immersive Growth & Collaboration Platform where immersive technology (2D, 3D, VR and AR) and AI come together. Organisations and communities use it to learn, collaborate and grow, both virtually and physically in our labs. PRIME Lab is the new lab of CoVince and the KNVB at the KNVB Campus in Zeist, and one of the five IX Labs of IXLabsNL. Role Description As an XR Specialist at PRIME Lab, you make sure the technology works every day, and that others learn to work with it themselves. You will work with VR headsets, projection mapping, eye-tracking, motion capture and sensors in a 1,800 m² sports hall that can turn into a football pitch, a training scenario or a game world with a single click. You work on the floor: you set up the immersive infrastructure, solve technical issues and keep everything running. You support users and partners with VR, projection and sensors in the lab, and help coordinate with external technology partners. You also take care of knowledge transfer, so that others can work with the technology independently. This is a full-time, on-site role at the KNVB Campus in Zeist, reporting directly to the IX Lab Director. Qualifications Starter or up to 4 years of experience in XR, AV, media technology or a related technical field. Hands-on experience with, or a strong interest in, immersive technology such as VR headsets, projection mapping, eye-tracking, motion capture and sensors. Technically handy and comfortable setting up, testing and troubleshooting hardware and software in a lab setting. A problem-solver who spots and fixes issues before they become big ones. Patient and clear in explaining technology to users, partners and colleagues with different levels of technical knowledge. Enjoys transferring knowledge and helping others work independently with new technology. Able to coordinate with external technology partners and keep agreements and documentation in order. Good communication skills in Dutch; good written and spoken English is a plus. Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in XR, media technology, game development, AV technology or a related field. Curious about emerging technologies and eager to keep learning in a fast-evolving field. Core Responsibilities

Set up and maintain immersive technology in the PRIME Lab, including VR headsets, projection mapping, eye-tracking, motion capture, and sensors, while troubleshooting technical issues and supporting users and partners. Coordinate with external technology partners and transfer knowledge so users can operate the technology independently.

Requirements

Applicants should have up to four years of experience in XR, AV, media technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, and be comfortable setting up, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software. The role also requires clear communication, patience in supporting users, partner coordination, organized documentation, good Dutch, and curiosity about emerging technologies; English is a plus.
