CRO Specialist (Freelance, Remote EU)
Key Skills
Job Description
Hiring: E-commerce CRO Specialist (Shopify, freelance, EU-based) At The Conversion Club I help D2C brands on Shopify grow their revenue through CRO and design. We research, test and build what wins, for brands ranging from fast-growing challengers to established names. I'm looking for a strong CRO specialist to own the thinking behind our tests and be my right hand on strategy. Someone with real hands-on experience: you've watched hundreds of session recordings, you read heatmaps and analytics yourself, and you've turned that into tests that moved revenue. What you'll do: • Research stores: session recordings, heatmaps, analytics, funnels, surveys and reviews • Find where revenue leaks, and why • Turn your findings into clear hypotheses and high-impact test ideas • Present your hypotheses to me, so we sharpen them together before they go to the client • Build and prioritize backlogs and monthly test roadmaps, with the analysis behind them, in our format • Read test results properly and know when a winner is real What I'm looking for: • 3+ years of hands-on CRO or experimentation in e-commerce • Shopify experience is a must • Deep research skills: you know what to look for in recordings, heatmaps and analytics, and what it means • Strong in statistics: sample sizes, significance, revenue per visitor, and segments without fooling yourself • Experience with GA4, Clarity or Hotjar, and A/B testing tools (Intelligems is a plus) • You explain your thinking simply: every hypothesis has a clear why • Based in the EU, fluent in English. Dutch is a plus What I offer: • Your ideas get built and tested quickly: design, development and test setup are taken care of • You focus on research and strategy, client contact runs through me • Remote and flexible hours, with a direct line to me • A long-term collaboration that grows with the agency Interested? Send me a DM with one test you're proud of: what you saw in the research, your hypothesis and the result. Anonymized is fine.
