PrestaShop Specialist (Freelance / Part-Time) Varlion | Remote | Flexible Hours About Varlion Founded in 1993, Varlion is an international premium padel brand recognised for its innovation, proprietary technologies, and high-performance products. As we continue expanding our global ecommerce presence, we're looking for an experienced PrestaShop Specialist to support the maintenance, optimisation, and development of our international websites. The Role We're looking for a reliable, proactive PrestaShop professional who can independently manage technical improvements, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing ecommerce development. This is a freelance or part-time position, ideal for someone who already works with multiple ecommerce clients and is looking for a long-term collaboration. Key Responsibilities PrestaShop Development & Maintenance: Manage technical updates, troubleshoot errors, and ensure website stability. Frontend Optimisation: Implement design and layout improvements, including responsive elements, homepage sections, banners, and landing pages. Performance & SEO: Improve loading speeds, Core Web Vitals, URL structures, redirects, and technical SEO. Modules & Integrations: Install, configure, customise, and troubleshoot PrestaShop modules and third-party integrations. Ecommerce Management: Support product catalogue updates, pricing configurations, promotions, and multilingual storefronts. UX Improvements: Identify and implement improvements to navigation, product pages, checkout, and overall user experience. Technical Support: Respond promptly to technical issues, provide clear timelines, and proactively recommend improvements. Requirements 3+ years of hands-on PrestaShop experience, preferably with PrestaShop 1.7 or 8.x. Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience with Elementor or similar visual page builders. Proven ability to customise themes, modules, and responsive layouts. Understanding of ecommerce SEO, website performance, and conversion optimisation. Experience managing multilingual and international ecommerce websites. Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet agreed deadlines. Good command of English. Nice to Have Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel. Familiarity with CDN, caching, hosting, and server configurations. Experience with ecommerce brands in the sports, fashion, or lifestyle industries. What We Offer 100% remote collaboration. Requirements

Requires at least three years of hands-on PrestaShop experience, strong PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL skills, and experience customizing themes, modules, and responsive layouts. Candidates should understand ecommerce SEO, performance, and conversion optimization, have managed multilingual international stores, and be able to work independently and communicate clearly in English.
