About The Role Sunbrella.com is a core channel for our brand, and we’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to run its day-to-day development. You’ll work closely with our developers, internal stakeholders, and external CRO and SEO agencies, turning priorities into well-scoped work and shipping it reliably on Adobe Commerce. This is a good fit if you like owning the process end to end, can talk to engineers and marketers with equal ease, and can work independently in a fast-growing environment. What You’ll Do Plan and deliver Run weekly standups and remove blockers quickly Groom and prioritize the backlog with stakeholders Break epics into stories, tasks, and bugs, and help estimate them so others can plan Plan sprints, track velocity, and keep Jira accurate so status is never a surprise Manage scope and change requests, reviewing scope and estimates with stakeholders and developers Release and operate Manage the path from dev to staging to production Monitor performance and stability around launches, and lead post-incident reviews when something breaks Track technical debt, patch and security update schedules, and version upgrade planning Communicate and coordinate Give stakeholders status updates in plain, useful language Manage relationships and requests from external CRO and SEO agencies Triage incoming bugs, content maintenance requests, project requests, and user feedback Coordinate with other project managers to ensure marketing is providing content, assets, and requirements accurately and on time Required What you bring Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken 3+ years of enterprise e-commerce experience, preferably on Adobe Commerce/Magento (Shopify experience also considered) 5+ years of project management experience Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and agile delivery, including working alongside developers, marketers, and designers Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, enough to troubleshoot and challenge estimates Proficiency with Jira and documentation tools Experience writing technical documentation Experience with SEO and CRO best practices and managing outside agencies Nice to have Deep Google Analytics and Tag Manager knowledge Familiarity with content management systems
Core Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day development of the Sunbrella.com e-commerce channel, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and coordination with developers and stakeholders. Oversee releases and operational stability, manage agency relationships and incoming requests, and communicate project status and requirements clearly.
Requirements
Requires at least five years of project management experience and three years of enterprise e-commerce experience, preferably with Adobe Commerce/Magento; Shopify experience is also considered. Candidates should understand agile software delivery, have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, be proficient with Jira and documentation tools, and have experience with technical documentation, SEO, CRO, and external agencies.
