About The Role The Documentation Tooling Team at Adyen is seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to lead the development of the next generation of Adyen’s knowledge platform. This platform aims to transform static documentation into a structured, queryable, and accessible knowledge base that supports developers, AI agents, and internal teams. You will be instrumental in designing scalable content architecture, orchestrating serverless pipelines on AWS, and building high-performance APIs for knowledge retrieval. Your work will ensure that technical information is consistently accurate, easily discoverable, and effectively integrated across multiple sources and tools. As part of the Developer Experience group within the Customer Experience solution, you will play a strategic role in enhancing the overall developer and customer journey by providing reliable and contextual knowledge delivery powered by advanced AI interfaces. Qualifications Deep production experience with Python programming language Proficiency in designing serverless orchestration workflows using AWS Step Functions and AWS Lambda Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j and familiarity with Cypher query language Strong background in building robust ETL pipelines for extracting and transforming unstructured content from sources like Git repositories and Headless CMS Knowledge of designing high-performance APIs for complex data retrieval, including familiarity with GraphRAG patterns or vector embedding integration (e.g., Amazon Bedrock) Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Pulumi Experience collaborating with cloud platform teams managing container workloads like Amazon EKS or Kubernetes Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into technical initiatives and articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences Responsibilities Implement and deliver the next generation of Adyen’s knowledge platform, establishing foundations for intelligent, AI-powered knowledge delivery Design, configure, and orchestrate serverless data pipelines in AWS to ingest content from headless CMS and Git repositories Define graph schemas, ontologies, and develop optimized, idempotent queries for updating and querying graph databases Collaborate cross-functionally with technical writers, product managers, engineering teams, and cloud specialists to ensure secure and resilient infrastructure deployment Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring engineers, and fostering a culture of high performance and quality Implement automated controls and validation rules to maintain content integrity and detect documentation drift over time Develop APIs optimized for developer environments and AI agents to facilitate reliable knowledge retrieval Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning Collaborative and innovative work environment Participation in cutting-edge projects within the financial technology sector Supportive culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion Equal Opportunity Adyen is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

Requires deep production experience with Python and practical expertise in AWS serverless orchestration, graph databases, ETL pipelines, and high-performance APIs. Candidates should also have familiarity with GraphRAG or vector embeddings, Pulumi, container platforms such as EKS or Kubernetes, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
