A Day in the Life Role Reporting to a Corporate Communications Manager at our Benelux HQ in Hoofddorp (just outside Amsterdam), you will join our team for a 6-month, full-time internship starting in February. In this highly diverse role, you will take real project ownership to shape our corporate narrative and engage our audiences through several key missions: Engage Our Internal Community: Keep our employees informed and inspired with impactful internal communications, company news, and local events. Shape Our External Image: Monitor media coverage, identify press trends, and contribute to strategies that maintain a positive corporate brand image. Bring Events to Life: Support the planning and execution of key corporate events, from volunteering initiatives. We Are Looking For You are a final-year student at a university, fluent in English and either Dutch or French (non-thesis) who demonstrates: Natural Connectors: You are genuinely energized by daily human interaction, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and easily build trust across the organization. Communications & Engagement Generalist: Creating inspiring stories and content tailored to different internal and external audiences. Project Ownership: Organizing local events and executing key activities with high speed, precision, and detail. Brand, Social Media, Advocacy & Influence: Basic understanding of digital media landscapes to build corporate brand image. Agility: Easily balancing creative drafting with daily operational and administrative execution. Core Responsibilities

Create internal communications and company news to inform and engage employees, and monitor media coverage and press trends to support the corporate brand image. Help plan and deliver corporate events and other communications activities, taking ownership of projects and engaging audiences.

Requirements

Applicants must be final-year university students and fluent in English and either Dutch or French. They should have strong written and verbal communication skills, enjoy building relationships, and be able to create audience-focused content, organize events, and balance creative work with operational tasks.
