Role Description The Business Developer Healthcare role is a full-time position based in The Hague with a hybrid work model, allowing some work from home. In this role, the professional identifies and develops new business opportunities in the healthcare sector, focusing on Dutch solutions for international markets. Daily tasks include conducting market and stakeholder analyses, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare clients and partners, and generating leads for investment and project development. The role also involves preparing proposals, presentations, and business cases, collaborating with internal experts on financing structures, and supporting negotiations to ensure projects align with SDG-related impact objectives. The Business Developer Healthcare will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor project pipelines, report on progress, and contribute to the strategic development of the healthcare portfolio. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to assess markets, project viability, and investment opportunities. Excellent communication abilities, including stakeholder engagement, presentation, and report writing. Experience with lead generation and business development activities in healthcare or related sectors. Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis within international or impact-driven contexts. Customer service mindset, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and partners. Relevant academic background in business, economics, healthcare management, or a related field. Understanding of international development, impact investing, or the SDGs is highly beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage multiple projects, and collaborate in diverse, multicultural teams. Professional proficiency in English; Dutch and other languages are an advantage.

Core Responsibilities

Identify and develop healthcare business opportunities for Dutch solutions in international markets by analyzing markets, generating leads, and building relationships with clients and partners. Prepare proposals and business cases, collaborate on financing and negotiations, monitor project pipelines, and help develop the healthcare portfolio in line with SDG impact objectives.

Requirements

Requires strong analytical, communication, market research, and business development skills, including experience generating leads in healthcare or a related sector. A relevant academic background and the ability to manage projects and collaborate in multicultural teams are expected; knowledge of international development, impact investing, or the SDGs is beneficial.
