Job Description

WAT ZOEKEN WE What We Look For We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who enjoys developing and testing software for distributed systems used in vehicles. You will work at the intersection of embedded software, vehicle systems and automated testing, contributing to reliable and robust solutions for hybrid and electric vehicles. Key Responsibilities Develop, integrate and test embedded systems for vehicle systems and ECUs. Design, test and implement distributed system and test solutions Develop automated test cases, test frameworks and test environments Analyze communication and behavior across distributed ECUs and vehicle networks. Work with CAN and CAN-based communication, and where applicable Ethernet Perform software integration, verification, validation and troubleshooting. Ensures the consistency and completeness of the integration plan Analyze test results, identify root causes and support resolution of software and system issues Contribute to software quality, architecture, coding standards and continuous improvement of development and testing processes Responsible for commissioning al digital systems in the vehicle in the accordance with the integration plan AAN WELKE KWALIFICATIES MOET JE VOLDOEN B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering or a related field Experience with embedded software development and/or automotive software testing Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python Experience with CAN, CANalyzer, CANoe or similar automotive communication/test tools Experience with automated testing, integration testing or system-level testing Familiarity with software development processes, version control and CI/CD Good command of Dutch and English; German is an advantage WAT BIEDEN WIJ JOU Een functie vol mogelijkheden om je kennis verder uit te breiden en je persoonlijke ontwikkeling te stimuleren. Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, embedded systems, computer science, automotive engineering, or a related field is required, along with experience in embedded software development and/or automotive software testing. Candidates should have strong C/C++ and/or Python skills, familiarity with CAN tools and automated or system-level testing, knowledge of software development processes, version control and CI/CD, and good Dutch and English; German is an advantage.
