About The Role We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team at Weco. You will be working on the design, development, and optimization of the electrical systems on our wave energy converter technologies. What you'll do As an Electrical Engineer at Weco, you will play a key role in bringing wave energy to the world. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and ocean enthusiasts to develop cutting-edge technology. Your responsibilities will include designing, analyzing and procuring electrical components for our wave energy converters, conducting simulations and prototype testing, collaborating with mechanical and software engineers on system integration, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology. Core Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and procure electrical components for wave energy converters, and conduct simulations and prototype testing. Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on system integration and contribute to ongoing technology improvements.
Requirements
A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field and at least three years of experience in electrical design and analysis are required. Candidates should be proficient with simulation software, have experience prototyping and building electrical systems, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and be fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
