Strategic VMO Lead Clients engage RGP for expertise in delivering large and complex projects to strengthen their business. As a Strategic VMO Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for managing strategic vendor relationships, ensuring contractual compliance, service delivery excellence, and achievement of agreed business outcomes. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, driving governance, commercial value, and performance across major outsourcing and systems integration engagements. KEY DELIVERABLES Lead vendor governance and ensure delivery partners meet agreed scope, milestones, contractual obligations, and business outcomes. Manage and influence VP-level and senior executive stakeholders across the client organization to drive alignment and decision making. Identify and deliver cost optimization opportunities across existing contracts, targeting 15%+ savings and generating multimillion-euro value for the client. Lead commercial discussions, supplier negotiations, and contract optimization initiatives to maximize value realization. Establish and maintain robust vendor performance management processes, holding the Systems Integrator (SI) accountable for service quality, delivery performance, and business outcomes Review and analyze contract and operational performance data to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions. Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, governance materials, and reporting packs to support strategic decision making. Partner with offshore analytical resources to leverage data insights, performance reporting, and governance metrics. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Extensive experience in Vendor Management Office (VMO), supplier governance, commercial management, or outsourcing oversight roles. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale outsourcing, managed services, or systems integration engagements. Strong understanding of contract management, governance frameworks, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor performance management. Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, including VP and C-suite executives. Experience leading commercial negotiations, contract optimization, and cost reduction initiatives. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex performance and financial data to drive business decisions. Experience developing executive presentations, business cases, governance reporting, and board-level communications. Consulting, advisory, procurement, transformation, or vendor management experience within complex multinational organizations preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong contract and performance management, senior stakeholder influence, negotiation, analytical, and executive communication skills; experience in complex multinational organizations is preferred.
