To implement our ambitious plans, we are immediately seeking a Business Development Manager to strengthen our Commercial team with passion and dedication. The ideal candidate is responsible for the execution of daily land freight transportation operations, ensuring efficient movement of shipments across the network. The role focuses on coordinating transport activities, optimizing shipment consolidations, monitoring operational performance, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting billing processes. The incumbent ensures operational excellence, service quality, cost efficiency, and timely issue resolution while collaborating closely with planning, warehouse, and transportation partners. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day movement of import and export shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers. Coordinate operations from collection through to customs clearance and final delivery. Optimize load planning to maximize transportation capacity utilization and efficiency. Liaise with customers, agents, hauliers, customs authorities, and partner depots to ensure smooth movement of freight. Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate updates, delays, and service issues to customers. Manage customs clearance activities and support customers with customs-related queries. Issue quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings. Support accurate cost allocation across routes, shipments, and customers. Contribute to achieving operational KPIs. Qualifications Previous experience within Road Freight Operations. Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications in logistics or transportation will be an advantage 1–4 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation management, dispatching, or supply chain execution. Experience working in a fast-paced logistics, freight forwarding, courier, or transportation environment is preferred. Core Responsibilities

Manage daily import and export land freight operations from collection through customs clearance and final delivery, coordinating with customers, agents, hauliers, customs authorities, and partner depots. Optimize load planning, monitor shipment progress and operational KPIs, communicate service updates, issue quotations, support bookings, and ensure accurate cost allocation and documentation.

Requirements

Candidates should have previous road freight operations experience and 1–4 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation management, dispatching, or supply chain execution. A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is specified; relevant logistics or transportation certifications are an advantage.
