FUJIFILM Tilburg has a vacancy for a Cleanroom Operator in our Life Science Department. The Position In our Life Science factory, cell culture media are produced in both powder and liquid form. Cell culture media are used in the biopharmaceutical industry and serve as nutrients for cells in the production of medicines and/or vaccines. Due to the strict quality requirements, the production of cell culture media takes place in cleanrooms. In addition to cell culture media, we also produce WFI (Water for Injection) in our Life Science factory. This is purified and refined water that is used to dissolve and dilute injectable medicines. Fujifilm uses WFI to produce liquid cell culture media as well as for cleaning purposes. We are currently looking for Technicians for our powder production department. Responsibilities Weighing various chemicals in the required quantities and within set accuracy limits (ranging from grams to hundreds of kilograms). Blending and milling powder mixtures. Packaging the cell culture media in powder form. Preparing raw materials and packaging materials, cleaning equipment and the workspace. Setting up, calibrating, and documenting balances and scales. Performing and documenting “line clearance” before starting production. Checking labels and the weight of both the product and Quality Control samples. Creating and adjusting work instructions. Requirements Work experience in a cleanroom environment is a big plus. Good command of the English language, spoken and written. Willingness to work in an (alternative) 3-shift schedule with a maximum of two-night shifts in a row. Willing to work with chemicals. Core Responsibilities
Weigh, blend, mill, and package powder cell culture media while preparing materials and cleaning equipment and work areas. Set up and calibrate scales, complete line clearance, verify labels and weights, and create or adjust work instructions while documenting production activities.
Requirements
Applicants should have a good command of spoken and written English, be willing to work an alternative three-shift schedule with no more than two consecutive night shifts, and be comfortable working with chemicals. Cleanroom experience is an advantage; candidates must be full-time available, able to follow instructions accurately, perform physically demanding tasks, work well in a team, and submit a Certificate of Conduct before hiring.
