About the Role Micro1 is seeking experienced Full-Stack Software Engineers to contribute to an AI training project focused on software development, technical problem-solving, debugging, system architecture, and code evaluation. In this contractor role, you will work across front-end and back-end systems to create, solve, review, and validate challenging software engineering tasks. You may also translate complete code implementations from one programming language to another and evaluate AI-generated solutions for quality, correctness, and reliability. This position is suited to engineers with practical experience across the application stack who can navigate unfamiliar codebases, understand existing system architecture, and solve complex technical problems. Key Responsibilities •Develop, modify, and debug front-end and back-end application components. •Build user-facing features and implement the supporting services, APIs, and data models. •Trace requests and data flows across browsers, front-end applications, APIs, services, databases, and external integrations. •Explore unfamiliar repositories and understand existing application architecture. •Diagnose issues involving application state, API contracts, authentication, data persistence, networking, and deployment. •Evaluate, review, and improve code written in multiple programming languages. •Assess AI-generated code for correctness, completeness, performance, security, and maintainability. •Create, solve, review, and validate challenging software engineering tasks across the full application stack. •Translate complete software implementations from one programming language to another where required. Required Qualifications •Strong professional experience developing production-ready full-stack applications. •Hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end software engineering. •Production experience with multiple programming languages. •Strong understanding of browser-based applications, APIs, application state, databases, and service integrations. •Experience understanding and contributing to the architecture of complete software systems. •Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar codebases and existing development environments. •Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and technical problem-solving skills. Work Arrangement •Location: Global, fully remote. •Employment Type: Contractor. •Expected Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week. •Schedule: Flexible. You choose your working hours and days, including weekends, provided there is activity on the project.
