Your Role As Senior Biofuels Trader, you will take ownership of developing and executing a results-driven, over the counter, trading strategy. You will focus on building a strong client portfolio, managing relationships, and closing high-value deals. This role demands an independent, strategic thinker who excels in a competitive, target-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Development: Build and manage a portfolio of clients through phone, email, and face-to-face meetings. Strategic Execution: Develop and implement a winning market approach primarily in physical biofuels. Deal Closure: Leverage strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals, driving your own P&L book and consistently exceeding set targets. Market Expertise: You show strong expertise in market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical shifts. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Biofuels Desk to expand OTC Flow’s activities. What We’re Looking For Experience: 3+ years in trading within the physical biofuels market, ideally at a leading global firm. Drive: Entrepreneurial, competitive, and motivated by success. Skills: Strong communicator and negotiator with a proven ability to close deals. Focus: Target-oriented and eager to outperform in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of biofuels markets, including certificates and physical trading. Team player: Collaborative mindset, supporting team success while driving personal growth. Core Responsibilities

Develop and execute an over-the-counter trading strategy focused primarily on physical biofuels, while building and managing a client portfolio. Negotiate and close deals, manage an individual profit-and-loss book, meet targets, monitor market developments, and collaborate with the Biofuels Desk to grow the business.

Requirements

Applicants need at least three years of experience trading in the physical biofuels market, with in-depth knowledge of biofuels, certificates, and physical trading. They should be entrepreneurial, target-oriented, strong communicators and negotiators, collaborative, and fluent in English; another European language is an advantage.
