Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team and manage customer accounts across several countries. In this role, you will be responsible for timely cash collection activities, resolve and support account-related queries for customers and internal stakeholders, help with billing related projects like EDI, and ensure smooth business operations. You will work closely with customers and internal teams such as Sales, Customer Excellence, Tender & Contracts and Finance to identify and resolve outstanding issues and ensure a smooth order-to-cash process. As part of a large and collaborative team, you will contribute to maintaining a healthy accounts receivable portfolio. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly and confidently, and is comfortable taking responsibility for identifying and resolving issues. The European organization of Applied Medical consists of multiple legal entities all managed by the Shared Services Center in Amersfoort. The Credit Controller works in Amersfoort and reports directly to the Team Leader Credit Control. Key Responsibilities Monitor customer accounts daily, identify risks and outstanding issues Take appropriate action to ensure timely release of orders according to policies Manage and determine payment terms and collection activities Determine credit risk level for customer according to policies and credit reports Coordinate and monitor payments plans Take ownership of open issues and work closely with Sales, Customer Excellence, Tenders and Finance for an effective resolution. Prepare reports to meet the customer and business requirements Proactively identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements. Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. What You Bring Bachelor level of education and thinking level 2+ years relevant working experience in a business-to-business cash collection position is preferred Fluent English, both written and spoken is required Fluent in other German/ Polish/ Italian language is preferred Excellent communications skills with proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. A clear understanding of the Order-to-Cash process Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset. Core Responsibilities

Resolve account issues with customers and internal teams, prepare reports, coordinate payment plans, and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
A bachelor-level education and thinking level and at least two years of relevant business-to-business cash collection experience are preferred, along with fluent written and spoken English. Candidates should understand the Order-to-Cash process, communicate and negotiate effectively, collaborate across departments, and have good Excel knowledge; SAP and credit management tool experience are also sought.
