Job Description

We are hiring a PIM & Content Data Specialist to be part of our PLB Marketing & Content Team, based in Amsterdam. This role plays a key part in ensuring that product information, content data, and system integrations support the timely and accurate delivery of PLB content across the INTERSPORT network. You will join a global Content Team of four specialists covering content strategy, content operations, e-commerce content, and product data management. Working closely with colleagues across Content, and other PLM, IT, Data & Analytics, external content partners, and our National Organisations, you will act as a key link in ensuring product information flows seamlessly from source systems through PIM to market-facing channels. PURPOSE The PIM & Content Data Specialist manages PLB product data and the systems that carry content to the markets. You keep product attributes complete and correct, run PIM and the feeds to PartnerZone portal and to the markets, and act as the team’s liaison with internal teams. You also build the team’s first view of content performance, bringing a commercial angle to content decisions, and deputise for the Senior Content Lead on data and IT topics. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Product Data & Completeness Gather and enrich product attributes in PIM and release attribute-complete products for content creation. Define, document and implement completeness rules per PLB product type in PIM. Run weekly completeness checks and route each gap to its owner (image, text or data). Manage product deletions, status changes and product visibility rules, including SMU logic. Support missing-attribute enrichment and recommend next steps. Systems, Feeds & Vendor Liaison Own the PIM-to-PartnerZone feed and direct PIM feeds to markets, including seasonal updates. Monitor and resolve feed failures and coordinate fixes with IT and vendors against agreed service levels. Run monthly meetings with the PLM team on change requests, feed enrichment and bug fixes. Run monthly meetings with PIM on releases and roadmap planning. Document data rules, feed setups, incidents, root causes and prevention measures. Content Performance & Reporting Set up, together with the Data & Analytics team, a content performance view using market data. Deliver a monthly content readiness summary covering completeness by season and category. Provide data extracts for seasonal planning activities, including PLM sample extracts for shoot planning. Identify trends and anomalies and recommend actions to the Senior Content Lead KEY REQUIREMENTS Technical Requirements Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, INDEX-MATCH and data validation. Power BI or SQL experience is advantageous. PIM system administration experience, preferably Plytix. Experience managing attributes, completeness rules, feeds and bulk operations. Understanding of data formats including CSV, XML, JSON and APIs. Shopify feed experience is advantageous. Knowledge of PLM data structures, preferably FlexPLM. Experience with data quality auditing and validation processes. Industry Knowledge Understanding of sports goods, footwear, apparel and accessories product data structures. Knowledge of SKUs, colourways, sizing structures and seasonal collections. Understanding of retail B2B content distribution to markets. Experience working with PLM, PIM and e-commerce platform integrations. Understanding of content and sales performance KPIs. Soft Skills Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities for data and system issues. Ability to work confidently with IT teams, vendors and data specialists. Ability to translate technical topics into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders. Strong ownership mentality with a solution-oriented approach. Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail. Language Skills Fluent English, written and spoken. Additional European languages are advantageous. PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND Experience in PIM administration and product data governance. Experience coordinating feeds, integrations and vendors together with IT teams. Experience creating Excel and BI reporting for retail stakeholders. Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 3–5 years of experience in product data management or e-commerce data operations. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in product data management or e-commerce data operations, including PIM administration, product data governance, and coordination of feeds and integrations. A bachelor's degree or equivalent, advanced Excel skills, familiarity with retail product data and PLM/PIM systems, and fluent written and spoken English are required; Power BI, SQL, Plytix, FlexPLM, Shopify feeds, and additional European languages are advantageous.
