GWIF will invest in specialist fund managers across strategies, building a diversified portfolio. This contributes to a broader investment effort led by corporate members of the Water Resilience Coalition, targeting USD 2 billion in investments by 2030 and a positive water impact for hundreds of millions of people. The Facility is currently in its establishment phase and is actively engaging with prospective institutional and corporate investors. About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join the investment team. The role is primarily focused on fund investing: identifying, analysing private-market fund managers and supporting the construction of a diversified global fund-of-funds portfolio. This is not a narrow research role within an established asset manager. You will work directly with senior investment professionals across the full investment process, from market mapping and manager screening to due diligence, financial analysis, investment committee materials and portfolio monitoring, while also contributing to the build-out of a new investment platform. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with curiosity, judgement and a hands-on approach. You should be comfortable working with incomplete information, structuring analysis independently and taking ownership in a small and entrepreneurial team. Key Responsibilities The Investment Analyst will support the investment team across the full investment process, with a particular focus on fund investments and private-market strategies. This includes identifying and assessing fund managers and investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and financial analysis, and preparing investment recommendations and Investment Committee materials, taking into account both financial performance and sustainability objectives. The Analyst will also support portfolio construction, financial modelling and ongoing monitoring of investments. As part of a small founding team, the role will contribute to developing Nairiva’s investment processes and building an institutional fund-of-funds platform. · Fund Manager Research & Origination Map and assess private-market fund managers, strategies and investment opportunities across relevant geographies and asset classes, considering investment performance, market positioning and sustainability objectives. · Fund Due Diligence Conduct investment, financial, impact and operational due diligence on prospective fund commitments and contribute to investment memoranda and Investment Committee materials. · Financial Analysis Support portfolio construction, allocation and pacing analysis, financial modelling and the assessment of co-investment, separate-account and other investment structures. · Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting Monitor underlying fund performance, portfolio exposures, impact indicators and key risks, and contribute to portfolio reviews and investor reporting. · Investor & Stakeholder Engagement Support engagement with prospective corporate and institutional investors and strategic partners, including preparation of investment analysis, portfolio insights and tailored materials for investor discussions.. · FoF Platform Development Contribute to the development of Nairiva’s investment processes, analytical tools and due diligence framework as the institutional fund-of-funds platform is built and scaled. We are looking for an analytically strong and intellectually curious investment professional who wants to develop as a private-markets fund investor. You enjoy understanding how fund managers invest, what drives performance and risk, and how individual strategies fit within a broader portfolio. You are structured, rigorous and comfortable working with financial and qualitative information. At the same time, you are practical: you take ownership, communicate clearly and are willing to contribute beyond a narrowly defined analyst remit when needed. An affinity with investing at the intersection of financial returns and measurable impact is highly valued. Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in finance, investments, economics, business administration, corporate finance or a related discipline. • Approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience in private equity, fund investing, private markets, investment banking, transaction advisory, asset management, consulting, development finance or impact investing. Exceptional recent graduates with strong relevant internships may also be considered. • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including a solid understanding of private-market investment concepts and financial analysis. • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear and concise investment materials. • Advanced professional qualifications, or progress towards relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA or equivalent, are considered an advantage. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Highly Desirable • Exposure to fund-of-funds, primary fund investments or private-market manager research. • Experience reviewing fund track records, investment memoranda, due diligence materials or financial models. • Interest in infrastructure, natural capital, private equity, private debt or other alternative investment strategies. • Experience within impact investing, development finance, climate or water-related investment strategies. Personal Characteristics • Entrepreneurial and self-starting. • Analytically rigorous and attentive to detail. • Curious, commercially minded and eager to learn. • Practical and solution-driven. • Flexible and comfortable managing multiple priorities. • Collaborative with a low-ego approach. • Strong sense of accountability and ownership. What We Offer • A role in the founding investment team of a new global private-markets fund-of-funds platform. • Direct exposure to manager selection, fund due diligence, portfolio construction and investment decision-making. • Close collaboration with experienced investment professionals, the Board and senior international investors and partners. • A steep learning curve, meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to grow with Nairiva as the platform develops. • The opportunity to help build a differentiated investment platform focused on water resilience and measurable impact. • Compensation that is market conform.
