Job Description

ITCP Europe is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our project delivery team across Europe. This is a hands-on, fully site-based role within mission-critical data centre environments. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of works on site, ensuring that teams, subcontractors, materials and project activities remain aligned with programme, quality, safety and client requirements. Our projects are delivered across different European locations, so mobility across Europe is an essential part of the role. Standard site working hours are 08:00–17:00, subject to project requirements. The Role As Site Manager, you will be one of the key operational links between the site teams, project management, subcontractors and client representatives. You will be expected to maintain a visible and proactive presence on site, understand the current status of the works, identify constraints early and ensure that agreed actions are followed through. Depending on the project scope, works may include electrical infrastructure, low-voltage systems, security and access control, structured cabling, technical installations, snagging and commissioning activities. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors and technical teams Plan labour, materials, access requirements and daily work priorities Support short-term planning and look-ahead schedules Monitor progress against programme milestones and identify delays, constraints and delivery risks Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries and work areas Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship Support and maintain QA/QC processes, inspections and quality documentation Coordinate snagging, defect close-out and punch-list activities Support testing, commissioning and final handover Review and follow project-specific method statements, risk assessments and site procedures where applicable Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, security, confidentiality and site-specific requirements Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings and coordination meetings where required Maintain accurate daily and weekly progress records Coordinate technical queries with engineering and project teams Escalate programme, technical, quality or resource issues before they impact delivery Maintain clear communication with project management, clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders What We’re Looking For 3+ years of relevant experience in site supervision, site management or construction delivery within data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, MEP, electrical, telecom or technical construction. Previous data centre experience is strongly preferred. You should be confident managing several workstreams simultaneously and comfortable operating within a fast-paced international construction environment. Strong candidates will have: Experience coordinating subcontractors, technicians and multiple site activities Good understanding of site planning, sequencing and project delivery Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation Working knowledge of site H&S and QA/QC processes Experience with snagging, inspections, testing or commissioning activities Strong organisational and practical problem-solving skills Clear reporting and communication skills Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with the wider project team A technical, electrical, engineering, construction or trade qualification is preferred but practical project experience will also be considered. Relevant site or safety qualifications such as VCA/SCC, IOSH, SMSTS or equivalent are an advantage. Professional English is essential. The Site Manager must be comfortable: leading and participating in site meetings, communicating with international teams and clients, discussing technical and project issues, working with drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation in English. For this role, practical communication ability is more important than a language certificate. Mobility & Right to Work This is a site-based European project role, not a remote position. Candidates must be willing and able to work at different project locations across Europe and spend extended periods at the assigned site. Candidates must have the legal right to work across the relevant EU project locations or be able to meet the applicable work-authorisation requirements. The role offers the opportunity to work across complex European data centre projects and develop within an international mission-critical infrastructure environment. About ITCP Europe ITCP Europe delivers Data Centre Infrastructure & Engineering Services across Europe. We support complex projects through technical expertise, experienced on-site teams and reliable project delivery. Our work takes place within mission-critical environments where quality, safety, security, confidentiality and accountability are fundamental to successful delivery. How to Apply Please send your CV and a short cover letter to [email protected]. Please include “Site Manager – Data Centre Projects” in the subject line of your email. We look forward to hearing from you.

Core Responsibilities

Coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors, technical teams, labour, materials, logistics, and short-term work plans while monitoring progress and resolving delivery constraints. Ensure work meets project drawings, quality, safety, security, and client requirements, and support inspections, snagging, commissioning, reporting, and final handover.

Requirements

Candidates need at least three years of relevant site supervision, site management, or construction delivery experience in data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, MEP, electrical, telecommunications, or technical construction; data centre experience is strongly preferred. They should be able to coordinate multiple workstreams, interpret technical drawings, understand site health and safety and quality processes, communicate professionally in English, and travel and work across European project locations.
