🚀 Help shape the future of tech education with HackYourFuture Role: Volunteer Cloud Specialization Track Coordinator HackYourFuture is a non-profit coding school in Amsterdam that provides free, intensive tech education to refugees and displaced people, helping them build careers in the Dutch IT job market. We recently upgraded our program and are now expanding further by preparing to build out a new specialization track over the coming weeks: the Cloud track. To make this happen, we're looking for a volunteer to take ownership of coordinating our Cloud specialization track (AWS). The role: ☁️ Take ownership of coordinating the Cloud specialization 🔧 Help build and finalize the track's content alongside other volunteers 🧠 Be available to teach weekly in person on Mondays for 3 hours in Amsterdam, from 1st March to 31st May 2027 What we're looking for: Someone reliable, who wants to make a real impact helping refugees and displaced people learn new skills and enter the job market English-speaking, ideally based in Amsterdam At least 5 years of experience working with AWS, along with knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Java, etc.) Comfortable working remotely and in an international environment Please note that this is a voluntary, unpaid role. As a non-profit, HackYourFuture relies on the dedication of its volunteers to run the program. Core Responsibilities
Coordinate and take ownership of HackYourFuture’s AWS cloud specialization track, helping volunteers build and finalize its content. Teach the track in person for three hours each Monday in Amsterdam from March 1 to May 31, 2027.
Requirements
Applicants should have at least five years of AWS experience and knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Bash, or Java. The role also calls for reliability, English proficiency, comfort working remotely in an international environment, and ideally being based in Amsterdam.
