Job Description

Internship – Heineken Experience Marketing Bringing the Heineken Experience to life through social media, creative storytelling and unforgettable guest experiences - that's a normal day as an intern in our marketing team. The internship We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join the Heineken Experience team as a Marketing Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media, communications, public relations and brand activations. You will work closely with the Social Media & Creative Specialist and the Content & Communications Specialist, supporting the team across three key areas: Social media: Content planning: Assist in planning the social media content calendar, organizing and scheduling the content for various social media platforms and ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to engage the audience effectively. Content Curation & Filming: You’ll play a key role in collaborating with our creative agency to identify and select trendy, brand-aligned content for the Heineken Experience. This includes researching social media platforms for the latest trends, curating engaging ideas, and supporting the team during filming to bring these concepts to life. Community engagement: Help monitor social media channels and support audience engagement by identifying relevant opportunities, trends and conversations. Communications & PR Copywriting: Assist in writing and proofreading a variety of marketing and communication materials, including website copy, campaign messaging, promotional content and internal communications for platforms such as Workvivo, Teams and the internal newsletter. PR & media relations: Support the management of incoming media enquiries, maintain press materials and assist with PR activities. Marketing campaigns: Support the execution of marketing campaigns, including out-of-home (OOH) advertising, partnerships and promotional activities from planning through implementation. Activations Guest activations: Assist in planning and executing guest activations at the Heineken Experience, helping to create memorable and engaging visitor experiences. Events: Assist in organising events and collaborations with partners, influencers and media, helping coordinate logistics and ensuring smooth execution. The former brewery closed in 1988, when production outgrew the historic building. Today, it has been transformed into an immersive visitor experience and one of Amsterdam’s most recognisable attractions. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with colleagues across different teams, contribute to marketing and communication projects, and get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Amsterdam's leading attractions. Conditions of HEINEKEN You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU. You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing. You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN). Our Internship Conditions During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. In addition, we offer you: A full-time internship, starting on February 1, 2027 The duration of the internship is 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor) Your home office will be located in Amsterdam At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship) If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed Interested? Requirements

Applicants should be enrolled at an educational institution throughout the internship, reside in the Netherlands, and have a valid BSN; additional registration rules apply depending on nationality. They should be proficient in English, creative and up to date with marketing trends, organized, proactive, curious, and able to communicate well and work collaboratively.
