Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to expand our quality team. You will get involved and play an integral role driving our company to the next phase of growth. This position offers you a wide scope from data analytics to product and process introduction, from industrialization to 8D analysis and everything in between. You will manage changes and transitions within the management system and ensure that they are effectively implemented through training and quality planning. In other words, you will mature our Quality Management System and help to transition the team to the next phase. You will also coordinate internal and external audits, follow up on findings, and communicate key results and actions to the leadership team. With your excellent communication skills, you will promote the management system and continual improvement to enhance customer satisfaction. Your tasks: Maintain and improve the Business (Quality) Management System integrating & meeting ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and other required Standards Managing the internal audit program; performing internal audits, managing CAPAs, facilitating certification and customer audits. Coordinate and support the organization with problem solving, Root Cause finding and risk management, in development, production or supplier related (8D, RCA, CAPA, FMEA) with relevant stakeholders Ensure Quality is built in, in new product introduction and product platforms with multi-disciplinary teams, improving production (process) yield, machine uptime, process efficiency and overall product quality. Manage & improve Quality Training. Support the team with ad-hoc requests. The team will do the same for you. Influence the organization, taking ownership of improvement initiatives and driving them to successful implementation. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, and others. 10+ years of operational experience in a commercial manufacturing environment, preferably within the semiconductor industry. Experience in other highly regulated industries may also be considered. Experienced in conducting FMEA’s (design/process), 8D and CAPAs. Strong quantitative and data analysis skills & knowledge; competences in Six Sigma Black Belt highly preferred. Excellent communication and coaching skills, with passion for documentation. Experienced in implementing quality management systems such as ISO9001, ISO 27001, ISO1400, ISO45001 or others. A proactive, self-starting mindset, with the ability to take ownership and drive initiatives independently. Core Responsibilities

Maintain and improve the Quality Management System, coordinate internal and external audits, manage findings and corrective actions, and communicate results to leadership. Lead problem-solving and risk-management activities, embed quality in new product introductions, improve manufacturing performance, and drive training and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field and more than 10 years of operational experience in commercial manufacturing, preferably semiconductors or another highly regulated industry. Candidates should have experience with FMEA, 8D, CAPA, quality management systems, and strong quantitative, communication, and coaching skills; Six Sigma Black Belt competence is highly preferred.
