🚨 We're Hiring: Risk Manager (Utrecht) 32-40 uur🚨 Are you an experienced Risk Manager looking for an opportunity to build and shape a risk management function within an international financial services organization? REMOBIS Refund Service is Europe's leading specialist in VAT refunds and excise duty recovery. As part of the DKV Mobility Group, we help thousands of international customers recover VAT and excise duties across Europe. By combining deep tax expertise, advanced technology, and customer-focused service, we make complex refund processes simple, efficient, and compliant. To support our continued growth and professionalization, we are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to establish, develop, and drive our operational risk management framework. What you'll do ✅ Develop and implement the operational risk management roadmap ✅ Lead Business Impact Assessments (BIA) ✅ Coordinate Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) ✅ Strengthen internal controls, governance, and compliance frameworks ✅ Monitor key risks and drive mitigation actions ✅ Support regulatory audits and reporting activities ✅ Partner with senior stakeholders across the business and the DKV Mobility Group ✅ Build a strong risk-aware culture throughout the organization What we're looking for ✔️ Master's degree or equivalent ✔️ Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar risk management role ✔️ Experience within regulated financial institutions ✔️ Strong understanding of operational risk management and internal controls ✔️ Experience with SAP ✔️ A hands-on, entrepreneurial, and self-starting mindset ✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ✔️ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills ✔️ Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential What we offer 🌍 An international and dynamic working environment 🚀 The opportunity to build and shape a growing risk function 📈 Development opportunities within the DKV Mobility Group 🤝 A highly visible role with direct business impact 💼 Competitive compensation package 📍 Location: Utrecht (The Netherlands) Build the framework. Core Responsibilities

Develop and implement the operational risk management roadmap, lead business impact assessments, coordinate risk and control self-assessments, and strengthen internal controls, governance, and compliance. Monitor risks and mitigation actions, support audits and reporting, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and promote a risk-aware culture.

Requirements

Applicants must have a master's degree or equivalent, at least five years of experience in a similar risk management role, and experience in regulated financial institutions. They should understand operational risk management and internal controls, have SAP experience, demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, and be fluent in written and spoken English.
