Join ASP and help keep critical healthcare technology running As a Field Service Engineer/Technician, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair advanced medical devices used in hospitals and healthcare facilities. You'll be the trusted technical expert supporting customers across your territory and ensuring equipment performs safely and reliably. What You'll Do Install, validate and commission new equipment. Perform planned preventative maintenance on medical devices. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Provide exceptional on-site customer support and training. Collaborate with Sales, Clinical Education and Technical Service teams. Maintain accurate service records and documentation in company systems. Manage tools, inventory and parts within your assigned territory. Support continuous improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction activities. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in a technical service, field service or maintenance role. Experience working with medical devices or other highly regulated equipment is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer-facing communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule. Good English communication skills. Working Environment Field-based role supporting hospitals and surgery centers. Up to 90% travel within the assigned territory. Occasional overnight travel and on-call support may be required. Core Responsibilities
Install, validate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical devices, while providing on-site customer support and training. Maintain service records and territory inventory, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Applicants should have at least three years of experience in technical service, field service, or maintenance; experience with medical devices or other regulated equipment is preferred. Strong troubleshooting, customer communication, independent scheduling, English communication, and familiarity with Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and digital service tools are expected.
