Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Junior Sales Representative to join our Northern European sales team. This position will focus on developing new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and driving sales of polymers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to business development, and a competitive, results-oriented mindset. Previous sales experience is not required, as we place greater emphasis on ambition, determination, and commercial potential. Job Duties Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and customer visits Promote and sell commodity polymers, primarily PP and PE, to manufacturers, converters, and industrial customers Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and commercial solutions Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and close sales opportunities Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing developments to identify commercial opportunities Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline to achieve established sales targets Collaborate with internal purchasing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction Travel throughout assigned markets to develop business and strengthen customer relationships Requirements Fluency in German, Dutch, and English is required Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field preferred Recent university graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of sales or commercial experience are encouraged to apply Previous experience in polymers, plastics, chemicals, or B2B sales is an advantage but not required Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Confident, outgoing personality with a professional presence and natural commercial aptitude Highly motivated, competitive, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic Proactive approach to prospecting, customer acquisition, and pursuing new business opportunities Resilience, persistence, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage rejection Strong organizational skills, initiative, and willingness to learn Willingness to travel regularly within Northern Europe #TegralEurope
Core Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, sell commodity polymers—primarily PP and PE—and build relationships with manufacturers, converters, and industrial customers. Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, manage the sales pipeline, monitor market developments, and coordinate with internal teams while traveling across assigned markets.
Requirements
Fluency in German, Dutch, and English is required; a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, and recent graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of commercial experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have strong communication and negotiation skills, commercial aptitude, resilience, initiative, and willingness to travel; polymer or B2B sales experience is advantageous but not required.
