What You'll Do As a Senior AI Tech Architect, you will work alongside a bold, energetic and collaborative team. You will evaluate and coach our clients' technology teams, define technology strategies, architecture solutions and help us design the future. You will develop and grow by being exposed to new and complex challenges daily. Together with our clients, you will develop superior digital and technology concepts and architecture solutions as well as support technical implementations actively and on site, applying your sound technical know-how, your understanding of business contexts, and your analytical and conceptual skills. As you acquire experience, you will be responsible for owning the delivery for a specific project “module” and help develop technical concepts for that “module”. You will be supported by an extensive training curriculum, plus technology-specific training and mentoring to help you build your technical skills. Finally, as a Senior AI Tech Architect (Capital Markets) you will focus on and contribute to the Financial Services Practice Area development, specifically in Capital and Investment Banking, and help to build the BCG brand as a key member of case teams, mainly in Capital Markets. What You'll Bring 4 to 10 years of IT Architecture experience in IT/technology consulting, financial institutions, financial services, or banking industry. Hands-on experience with trading platforms and systems such as Nasdaw, Calypso, FIS Murex, Bloomberg, or similar. Knowledge of trade and settlement processes and technologies (like FIX, SWIFT, FpML) from FO, MO to BO across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, FX, commodities and derivates Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade architectures. Familiarity with microservices, containerized solutions like Kubernetes/Docker, and event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Experience with cloud platforms and services, particularly in high-frequency trading and data processing. Experience in building scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based solutions. Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel to client sites. A University degree with above-average academic performance in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. Core Responsibilities

Develop technology strategies and architecture solutions for clients, coach technology teams, and support technical implementations. Own delivery of a project module and contribute to the Financial Services Practice, particularly Capital and Investment Banking and Capital Markets.

Requirements

Requires 4–10 years of IT architecture experience in consulting, financial institutions, financial services, or banking, plus hands-on experience with trading platforms and trade and settlement processes across asset classes. Candidates should have enterprise architecture implementation experience, knowledge of cloud and modern distributed architectures, a relevant university degree, and the ability to work under pressure and travel; English fluency is required in the Netherlands, with Dutch highly desirable.
