At Noatum Logistics, we are looking for an experienced Air & Ocean Freight Operations Specialist to join our Operations team. This role is ideal for a logistics professional with strong freight forwarding expertise who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the seamless execution of international shipments. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end air and ocean freight operations, maintaining strong relationships with customers and agents, and ensuring operational excellence throughout the supply chain process. Key Responsabilities: Serve as the main point of contact for customers and overseas agents, ensuring excellent service and long-term relationship management. Coordinate and manage end-to-end air and ocean freight shipments, including bookings, routing, pickups, and deliveries. Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BLs), Air Waybills (AWBs), and related transport documents. Support customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with international trade requirements. Proactively monitor shipment status, providing customers with accurate updates and full visibility throughout the transportation process. Handle operational issues and exceptions efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with Operations, Pricing, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution. Ensure the accurate application of agreed rates, contracts, and commercial terms. Manage shipment financials, including cost control, invoicing, margin protection, and file closure. Analyze shipment flows, identify operational efficiencies, and proactively mitigate potential risks. Contribute to continuous service improvement and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and coordination. What We Offer: Hybrid working model. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in Air Freight and Ocean Freight Operations within a freight forwarding environment. Solid understanding of international transportation processes, documentation, and operational workflows. Knowledge of customs procedures and international trade regulations will be considered an advantage. Strong analytical skills, particularly in cost control, pricing validation, and profitability analysis. Experience working with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, agents, and international partners. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional level of English, both written and spoken.
Core Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end air and ocean freight shipments, including bookings, routing, documentation, customs support, tracking, and resolution of operational issues. Maintain customer and partner relationships, coordinate with internal teams, apply agreed commercial terms, and oversee shipment costs, invoicing, margins, and file closure.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, business administration, or a related field is required, along with proven air and ocean freight operations experience in freight forwarding. Candidates should understand international transportation and documentation, have strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills, and be professionally proficient in written and spoken English; customs and trade regulation knowledge is an advantage.
