Then you could be our new colleague! Your job In your job within Credit Risk Policies & Requirements you play an essential role in executing change throughout the credit chain. To cope with challenges related to increasing regulatory requirements, we focus on developing a uniform, harmonized and more data-driven credit risk landscape. You play a crucial role in setting and validating the requirements with a large group of stakeholders, ensuring solutions create business value while meeting regulatory expectations. Your mission is to help deliver a robust regulatory compliant credit risk landscape in a pragmatic and efficient way, while enabling business objectives. You act as a hands-on implementation partner to client units, translating complex regulations into clear and actionable requirements. Regular activities include: Translating complex (regulatory) requirements into practical and actionable solutions, bridging the gap between policy and execution across data, processes, organization, and technology. Aligning these (regulatory) requirements with the business process owners, via change programs or directly as part of the business as usual processes. Owning the end-to-end implementation of these (regulatory) credit risk requirements. Acting as the single point of contact for credit risk related regulatory change . Supporting business lines and subsidiaries in navigating the demanding and rapidly evolving environment of regulatory requirements within the banking sector. Providing input to the Management Team of Credit Risk on commitments to and meetings with the European Central Bank (ECB). These activities involve working with various stakeholders across the bank, including IT , Data domains, Business lines, Legal, Audit, Finance, subsidiaries. Working environment The Credit Risk Management department consists of five teams: Credit Risk Decisioning, Credit Risk Policies & Requirements, Credit Risk Collateral Centre, Credit Risk Control & Oversight, and Credit Risk Analytics & Reporting. Together, these teams deliver value and resilience for ABN AMRO to enable our Clients’ success and the Bank’s growth by measuring, assessing and managing the principal risk the bank faces: credit risk. The Credit Risk Policies & Requirements consists of three sub teams focussed on business line segments. Your profile You are a great candidate to become our new colleague, if you meet the following description: You understand the lending and credit risk life cycle. The ideal candidate has a lending background and strong business affinity. You have excellent communications skills, especially in writing. Fluency in English is required. You are execution driven, work in a structured manner and have experience with (re)designingprocesses, and preferably also setting requirements for data and IT systems. You are tech savy, preferably with skills in Excel, Powerpoint or other M365-tooling You are a curious and analytical self-starter who enjoys solving complex challenges, learning quickly, and identifying opportunities to improve the way we work. You thrive in a dynamic environment, building strong relationships with stakeholders, driving change, and taking ownership to deliver results as part of a collaborative team. Preferably, you have affinity with banking and credit risk management in general and policies and regulations in particular. Core Responsibilities
Translate regulatory credit risk requirements into practical solutions and own their end-to-end implementation across business processes, data, organization, and technology. Coordinate with business units and other stakeholders, support subsidiaries with regulatory change, and provide input to Credit Risk management on commitments and meetings with the ECB.
Requirements
Candidates should understand the lending and credit risk lifecycle, ideally with a lending background and affinity for banking, credit risk, policies, and regulations. They should be fluent in English, strong communicators, execution-driven and structured, with experience redesigning processes and preferably defining data and IT requirements; Microsoft 365 skills are preferred.
