Job Title Customer Journey Expert (CJE) – Transaction Reporting Tribe Financial Markets – Transaction Reporting Location Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid) Position Type Full-time with Virtusa Role Overview Are you a sharp business analyst who thrives at the intersection of complex data, evolving regulations, and fast-paced global markets? As a Customer Journey Expert (CJE) within the Transaction Reporting tribe of ING Financial Markets, you won't just be mapping journeys—you will be the bridge between regulatory mandates and seamless operational execution. Your mission is to ensure that ING's complex Financial Markets transactions are accurately, efficiently, and flawlessly reported to global regulators, mitigating risk while continuously improving our tech and data ecosystem. What You Will Do Drive Regulatory Business Analysis Translate complex, evolving global transaction reporting regulations into concrete, unambiguous business and functional requirements. Optimize End-to-End Data Flows Analyze and design data lineage from front-office trading systems (e.g., Murex) all the way through to reporting engines and regulatory endpoints. Stakeholder Management & Alignment Act as the primary liaison between a diverse group of high-profile stakeholders, including Front Office traders, Compliance officers, Risk Management, and IT DevOps squads. Refine the Backlog Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring technical delivery aligns perfectly with Key Requirements Banking & Financial Markets Expertise Strong foundation in wholesale banking and Financial Markets. You understand trade lifecycles and can speak fluently about financial instruments (e.g., Derivatives, FX, Fixed Income, Equities). Proven Business Analysis Skills Track record of dissecting complex data structures, mapping processes, and converting them into clear user stories or technical specifications. Exceptional Stakeholder Skills Ability to navigate a large matrix organization, challenge the status quo constructively, and explain complex technical/regulatory topics simply to business partners.
Core Responsibilities
Translate global transaction reporting regulations into clear business and functional requirements, and analyze and design end-to-end data flows from trading systems through reporting engines to regulatory endpoints. Coordinate with Front Office, Compliance, Risk, and IT stakeholders, and work with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the backlog.
Requirements
Candidates should have a strong foundation in wholesale banking and Financial Markets, including knowledge of trade lifecycles and instruments such as derivatives, foreign exchange, fixed income, and equities. They should have proven business analysis skills in complex data and process mapping, and be able to communicate effectively and constructively across a large stakeholder organization.
