Job Description

Scrum Master Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and help cross-functional teams deliver high-quality products. The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader, remove impediments, foster collaboration, and ensure the team follows Scrum principles while continuously improving delivery and team performance. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. Coach Agile teams on Scrum values, principles, and best practices. Remove obstacles and resolve issues that impact team productivity. Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog. Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable follow-ups. Track and communicate Agile metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team capacity. Foster collaboration between development teams, stakeholders, and business units. Support release planning and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers. Mentor teams in Agile maturity and facilitate organizational Agile transformation where needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. 8–12 years of overall IT experience with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master. Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and Lean methodologies. Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile teams. Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or SAFe Scrum Master certification. Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Rally. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience in Agile transformation initiatives. Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, 8–12 years of overall IT experience, and at least 2 years as a Scrum Master. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Scrum and related Agile methods, experience coaching and facilitating teams, and excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills; Scrum Master certification is preferred.
