As a Financial Data & Reporting Specialist, you become part of a team that doesn't just analyse numbers, but creates tangible value for our organisation and our customers.
The Challenge
You will act as the crucial bridge between raw data, process execution, and broader business operations. Your challenge is to transform complex financial streams from multiple business units into clear management insights. While safeguarding data integrity at the highest level, you will provide critical, hands-on support across two distinct teams and balance your expertise 50/50 to empower data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Independently check and process financial documents, bookings, and figures in the ERP system (SAP).
- Design, build, and monitor KPI dashboards, reports, and forecasts to make performance transparent.
- Reconcile payment provider differences, aligning with internal and external parties to ensure timely resolution.
- Guarantee the accuracy of data sources, support monthly closings, and proactively develop process improvement plans.
- Execute complex financial tasks and provide direct operational support to the Seniors and Finance Operations Team Lead.
Requirements
- MBO-4 with 3 years of experience, or an HBO degree with 1 year of experience, specialising in Finance or Accounting.
- Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros) for building reports and analysing datasets.
- Strong affinity with ICT and ERP systems (SAP is a plus), and an interest in utilising AI tools (like Gemini) to accelerate data analysis.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language; fluency in English and German is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional analytical insight with the broad knowledge required to split your role successfully across two teams.
- Specific data-analytic capabilities with broad knowledge to fulfil responsibilities 50/50 across teams.
