About the hotel

Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is a large international 4-star hotel, located next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk. With 476 rooms and 21 meeting and event spaces, there is always something happening in our hotel. From guest service, housekeeping and Food & Beverage to Meetings & Events, you will have the opportunity to experience different sides of hotel operations and learn from experienced hotel professionals.

• A gross salary of €17,91 per hour including vacation allowance, based on scale III of the Horeca CLA and 20 years old;

Stijn started with us as a hotel school student from Hotelschool the Hague, working part-time alongside his studies. He later completed his internship at the Radisson Hotel Group Head Office.

Job Description

As an Allround Hospitality Host, you will get hands-on experience across different areas of the hotel.

Depending on your shift, you may:

• Welcome and assist our guests
• Work in Food & Beverage
• Support Meetings & Events Operations
• Work in Housekeeping
• Provide excellent guest service
• Help create memorable guest experiences
• Work with colleagues from different hotel departments
• Learn how a large international hotel operates

You will have the opportunity to put what you learn at school into practice and develop skills that will help you throughout your hospitality career.

Qualifications

You are a student who:

• Is studying Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, Event Management or a related programme
• Has an interest in building a career in hospitality
• Wants to gain practical experience alongside your studies
• Is eager to learn and develop
• Has a positive, social and hands-on attitude
• Enjoys working with guests and colleagues from different cultures
• Communicates well in English
• Is flexible and available to work alongside your studies
