In Breda, The Netherlands, our shared service centre for Europe and Middle East is located. For this location we are recruiting an Accounts Payable Senior.
The Role
As an auction company we execute on a daily basis massive amount of transaction and payments to suppliers, consignors and buyers. The Accounts Payable department has a central role in the execution of these transactions. The role off the reviewer is to check and correct all invoices and payments.

The Responsibilities
• Review, correct and validate invoices and payments
• Lead and support the AP team during the month/quarter/year close
• Support internal and external audits
• Accurate and timely responses to Payment Reminders and queries
• Verifies signing authority of invoices, purchases orders and expense reports
• Audit and support employee expenses (T&L)
• Support, guide and train the team members and monitor the bookings according to our accounting structure.Work close to Project team to improve and simplify our processes
• Other general tasks that are related to Accounts Payable
The Requirements
• An MBO accountancy degree.
• +2 years experience in EU related Accounts Payable environment.
• Experience with Oracle.
• Driven and dedicated to quality work.
• Well organized and results oriented.
• A positive attitude with passion for problem solving.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent time management and team work skills.
• Intermediate/advanced level of Excel, PowerPoint and Copilot
• Residence- and work permit for the Netherlands

Core Responsibilities
The role involves reviewing, correcting, and validating invoices and payments while leading the AP team through month-end and year-end closing processes. Additionally, the incumbent will support internal and external audits, manage employee expenses, and collaborate with project teams to improve accounting processes.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MBO accountancy degree and possess at least two years of experience in an EU-related Accounts Payable environment. Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office tools, along with a valid work permit for the Netherlands, is required.
