Job Description

ISISPACE designs and builds nanosatellites and the components and subsystems that go into them — many of which are also sold as standalone products to customers worldwide. Behind every spacecraft is a long chain of highly customized parts, materials, and components, and that's where you come in. As Technical/Tactical Buyer, you'll translate procurement strategy into concrete results: smart make-or-buy decisions, solid supplier policies, and clean ordering processes. You'll own the full purchasing cycle — from an internal request landing on your desk all the way to accepting the delivered item — always balancing price, quality, and delivery reliability while building supplier relationships that last. You'll sit at the heart of our Procurement team, right in the middle of operations. When colleagues across the company run into anything procurement-related, you're the one they turn to. Specific tasks and responsibilities include: Handle procurement requests end-to-end — from internal request to acceptance of delivered items. Source materials, parts, and components against internal requirements. Identify, evaluate, and select the right suppliers. Manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Track inventory and delivery status. Resolve complaints and non-conformances, and keep communication flowing between suppliers and internal teams. Support internal teams with general procurement administration An MBO/HBO-level degree in procurement or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a (technical) purchasing role for complex systems. Solid grasp of quality standards and documentation — think certificates of conformity and material certificates. Excellent, straightforward communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus). High energy, a hands-on mentality, and an open mind — a genuine team player. Sharp eye for detail and strong administrative skills. True ownership: you take responsibility for your results and thrive as the "spider in the web," connecting stakeholders and driving collaboration across functions

Core Responsibilities

Manage the full purchasing cycle, from internal requests and supplier selection through order placement and acceptance of delivered items, balancing cost, quality, and delivery reliability. Track inventory and deliveries, resolve complaints and non-conformances, maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships, and support procurement administration.

Requirements

Requires an MBO/HBO-level degree in procurement or a related field and at least three years of experience in technical purchasing for complex systems. Candidates should understand quality standards and documentation, communicate clearly in English, and demonstrate strong administrative skills, attention to detail, ownership, and a collaborative, hands-on approach.
