For one of our clients, a well-established company within a regulated production environment, we are looking for a hands-on and experienced Project Engineer to join their Engineering & Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of technical projects, connecting different disciplines and stakeholders, and turning technical challenges into practical solutions. As Project Engineer, you will be the link between Engineering, Maintenance, technical specialists, project teams and end users. You will oversee several ongoing projects, ensure the right people are involved, identify risks and keep projects moving forward. You don’t need to be the technical expert in every discipline. What is important is that you have a strong technical foundation, understand engineering challenges, know the right questions to ask and can effectively coordinate specialists and stakeholders. Your projects: You will work on a variety of technical projects within an operational production environment, including: Purified Water and utility systems, with utilities being an important part of the assignment. Technical project support for an operational Stickpack production line. A project focused on reducing heat load in a technical area, including gaining acceptance and support from the people working in or using the affected environment. Coordinating activities across different technical disciplines. Managing different stakeholder interests and constructively addressing resistance to technical changes. Your responsibilities: Independently lead and coordinate technical projects within Engineering & Maintenance. Connect stakeholders, end users and technical specialists to ensure clear agreements, ownership and progress. Understand technical challenges sufficiently to coordinate specialists and facilitate informed decision-making. Monitor project scope, actions, progress, risks and feasibility. Identify potential risks and ensure appropriate follow-up. Align different stakeholder interests and build support for technical changes. Keep projects moving forward in a complex, operational production environment. Act as the central point of coordination between technical disciplines, project teams and the business. What are we looking for? We are looking for a Project Engineer who combines technical knowledge, project ownership and strong stakeholder management skills. Must-have: Experience as a Project Engineer, Technical Project Lead or similar role. Experience independently coordinating technical projects and driving them towards successful results. A strong technical foundation in utilities and/or technical installations within a production environment. Experience working with Engineering, Maintenance and end users. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Able to deal constructively with resistance and different interests. A pragmatic, hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership and keep projects moving. Dutch and English language skills. Nice to have: Experience with Purified Water systems or comparable utility systems. Experience with production or packaging lines. Experience managing projects within an operational production environment. Experience with HVAC, heat-load reduction or similar facility-related engineering challenges. Experience working in a regulated production environment, such as pharmaceutical, food, chemical or other highly controlled manufacturing industries. Why this opportunity? Requirements

Candidates need experience independently leading or coordinating technical projects, a strong technical foundation in utilities or production-environment installations, and experience working with Engineering, Maintenance, and end users. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, a pragmatic hands-on approach, and Dutch and English language skills are required.
